A high-level conference on community health in Africa was attended by the director general of the ministry of health

A high-level delegation led by Dr Abdi Nasir Mukhtar Ibrahim, Director General of the Ministry of Health and Human Services, attended a conference on community health in Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The CDC African Agencies arranged the meeting to talk about possibilities, problems, potential solutions, and initiatives that may be taken to improve the public health workforce and health systems in Africa.

This conference’s goals are to raise awareness of public health concerns across the continent, promote changes in public health declarations and high-level choices for action, and demand political and financial commitment to enhance CHW and systems.
